I'm very new to this forum. I originate from Guppies.com/forum. Just recently in my 75 gallon community tank, containing 3 green emerald corys 1 albino a few guppies some mollies some tetras and a couple dwarf gouramis among a few more fish, I have found 2 layings of about 90 cory eggs. From my first batch I found on an amazon sword plant (acrylic) I acquired 14 cory fry. The actual hatching took place in a seperate 10 gallon I moved the eggs to immediatly after I noticed them. I have come accross a second batch of about 90 eggs on my other acrylic amazon sword plant. I am very well versed in the ways of livebearers but this is my first/secondish experiance with egg layers. Apparently my corys like to lay quite a few eggs (without my intervention other than my normal fishtank cleaning) and I was wondering what the best procedure would be to acquire the greatest yield from these eggs. Should I leave the eggs in the tank they were layed a little while longer? Should I have any specific temperatures/lighting for hatching the eggs? How long does it take for the eggs to hatch? Any other information would be greatly appreciated. I know I can probably search arownd for information but I would much rather recieve advice from someone who has knowledge of my situation. Thankyou in advance for any help.
