Ancistrus Sp. - feeding question

Hi

Does anyone know if the above will eat fruit such as apples? and also how should I prepare potatoes?

Try feeding them cucumber or courgette (zucchini), sliced so that they can get at the interior.

I've written a littel article on the subject of feeding pleco's, which is found here.

If your fish likes apples, go for it. I've fed mine raw potatos, but they also go MAD about the skin of baked[jacket] potato that we put in the tank once. Just make sure you remove any food once it's been in the tank for about 24 hours, before it starts polluting the water too much.
