New Catfish In Mexico?

Hey everyone,

Juan Miguel Artigas Azas spoke at my local fish club meeting last night. He mentioned that a new catfish had recently been found in Mexico. He mentioned that it was so different that a new family had been erected for it.

He didn't mention the family or the name of the fish. Anyone know what it is?

Yes, now that you write it I remember he said the species name but not the genus or family.
