Opinions please

I have a 55 gallon 48" x 13" x 20" just laying around and I thought that I would do something a little different. I will be using a Fluval 404. I want to make 2 shelf's one on each side of the aquarium made out of PVC and plastic sheet (from hobby store) and sand,gravel small rocks. I will not go in to detail of the shelf`s here to save space. I want to make Them 8" x 8" x 13". Do you think that Corys would utilize the shelf`s?

I would delete one of these duplicate posts (other is in tank talk). Moderators do not take kindly to them because at this time there is a bandwidth problem with the server.

They are not duplicate posts, Did you even read (understand) them? One post asks a question about filtration and the other is about corys. But thanks for you 2 cents.

They may not be exactly identical, but since they involve the same tank, I would suggest that you consolidate all your questions into one post. Most (all?) members of the forum read posts in more than one forum, so your questions will eventually be taken care of.

Sherrie,

I am sure that your Corys would utilise all the available space available to them. If the shelves are set high they may not be so keen but it is a different idea and I would be interested to see how the fish react.
