HELP!!! MY PLECO"S HAVE SPAWNED!!!

Post by beemzer109 »

Hello,
I am a newbie so please bear with me. I purchased two albino pleco's from my LFS. The only description was they were albino and breeding stock. They are not dwarf. They remind in looks of my 183's.Today I noticed the male is inside his bell tower, the female was there yesterday and he is fanning. There is six eggs on the bottom of the tank. Should I do anything with those eggs? Can anyone help me with a "L" number? THANKYOU for your help. I am so excited, this is my first spawn. :) :) :)

What other fish do you have in the tank?

If you haven't got any big fish in the tank, you should be able to just leave the father & mother in there and let them get on with things. You'll probably get about 50-80 fry, depending on the size of the fish...

They are in the tank alone.
