No one?

I want to make sure that I have the name right since I want to give the two corries, which I bought second hand, some more friends.

Well, it certainly looks like , but I'm not enough of an expert to say for sure.

does look a quite similar, especially picture 1.

If the purpose of "getting them some friends" is purely to make the fish happier, rather than in an effort to breed them, I'd say you can go buy some C. Agassizi and they would be fine together. In fact, most cories will "mix" with other cories, as long as you keep away from species that are far apart in temperature.

If you plan on breeding these ones, you'd better make 100% sure that they are what we think they are.

The could be C. agassizii or C. ambiacus both species overlap in colour pattern, but they are certainly not C. ornatus.

Thank you very much for the info! My goal is, first of all, making their life a bit more pleasent. I'm not planning on breeding (never say never....)
Anyways, thanks for the advice. I appreciate it!

I had two cory cats that looked just like those. I never figured out what they were. There are other species that look similar to them. They were always together. First one died, then the other died about a month after. Right now I have 4 peppered cories. Origionally I had 2 peppered cories but one died. I did not want the other one to be alone so I bought 3 more. I like keeping small groups of different kinds of fish. Right now I have 12 different species of fish in my 50 gallon aquarium. I also have 2 comet goldfish in a seperate tank.
