Feeding Rabbit Pellets
I read on another web site that a guy feed his Royals Rabbit Pellets! Has anyone heard of this? Well I was at my LPS and bought $0.30 worth of it just to see what would happen. When I got home I put a few pellets in a small container of water, and it fell apart almost instantly. He must enjoy cleaning his tank,lol

It's probably better than feeding them dog-food, as suggested [albeit not for pleco's per se] in another post...
It probably has the roughage needed by Herbivore Pleco's, and it's nutrients are suitable for a herbivore, so it's not completely stupid, but as you say, it's not a bad idea if the food statys put when in the tank... I would think that there are plenty of other food-stuffs available that would work better. I find that all sorts of vegetables are taken by my fish [although I haven't got any Royals, whether we're talking Royal Panaque or Sturisoma species]. Various types of Squash/Melon/Cucumber type vegetables are available at reasonably low prices at the supermarket [keep an eye on the "reduced to clear shelf" too].

Most every suckermouth (but the Hypancistrus) I have devours the alfalfa pellets I bring home from the pet store.
I've referred to them in other posts as guinea pig pellets, but they may, in fact, be rabbit pellets.
Heck if I know.
