Problem with very low lighting in dora's tank

Post by IMCL85 »

Hi all, after my 6 little mixed dora move from 25 to 10 g which they were alone with a feeder they seems to be alot more happier and attive during day time and speically at night I feed them blood warm. They love it :). The problem now I'm facing is that the tank doesn't have a lighting unit which I dont want to get one since the tank is so small. I just let the light from the room and a little from window to see them is this going to effect their health?

A dedicated light is not necessary, I run a 56 tank fish house with only room lighting and everything is fine. I have a few low light plants in the lower tanks that thrive. Most of the time lights are only for our benefit, so we can see our fish and create a living illuminated picture.
