Mexican plecos

Post by Shane »

Stopped by the Mexico City exporter today and noticed tanks full of young P. pardalis. I was told they are being bred in commercial quantities (in ponds) now in Mexico for export.

i have actually heard of this reported in 2003. that was when ivan diddle had made one of his visits there to his fish conservatory. he found a few sites there outside mexico city that was farming pleco's and tilapia species.
