picked this up yesterday. was labeled as marble sailfin ....

thanks. it's currntly in a 140 gallon stock tank. i got a good deal on him because the lfs wanted to get rid of him a.s.a.p., seems he killed one $20+ tank mate too many. I think they said he attempted to eat a couple of fire eels. :D anyway, he'll be going into a 300 gallon rubbermaid tank along with a Calophysus macropterus which is the same size. the tank is 63.25" wide x 69" long x 25" tall. will this tank be big enough for long term or will i eventually have to get a larger tank or maybe seperate these two fish? also, will i have to worry about hybridization with these two species?

I would certainly be thinking of seperating them in the future, Calophysus have some serious hardware in their jaws and a large specimin could reduce the other cat to nothing but a head in a very short time.
