 When I emptied them out of the cave,I counted about 100 babies in the bowl. There were also 30 or so running loose in the tank.Seemed like an awful lot of babies!  Is that amount normal? And also, will max allow more than one female to lay eggs? I have two Albino females in there and one young brown girl. Image

I haven't had more than about 60 in a brood (but they are hard to count unless you take them out of the tank). I've certainly got two broods to about 120 or so, not much more [I know that, as I've sold 32 + 30 + 34 of them, and given away a few more, and still got a very small number from the first brood].

If you have more than one female, they may spawn at the same time, creating a bigger brood. Also, the size of the female will make a difference, my female is only about 3" long.

I think mine will be around a year old the end of Sept.To me,she looks maybe three inches big.I really didn't think looking at them that they were even old enough to breed, until I sat down and tried to remember when I bought them.I guess I still think of them as babies. Thanks for all your help today!
