New, can you help me identify this catfish?

Can you help identify this catfish? We caught them a few weeks ago in a local river (Castor River). I'm thinking they are either a stinging catfish (Heteropneustes fossilis) or a flathead catfish (Pylodictis olivaris).

Sorry for the poor photo quality. Taking a photo of an aqurium is trickier than I thought! :oops: If I need to try and take a better one, I will.

What you have is a
Noturus insignis
, or marginated madtom. A lot of fun and one of my favorite catfish. They're quite hardy and will eat anything.

This is not the margined, but the slender madtom (
Noturus exilis
). The margined madtom is not found to the west of the Appalachians.
