My rusty is the biggest fish in the tank and is very boisterous. He deffinately rules the tank. Not aggressive but just enough to let everyone know who the boss is. Its never been a problem though.

Hi!

I have 2 16 and 17 cm L77/137 and a 9 cm Hypostomus(Cochliodon) cochliodon and they are quite territorial especially while feeding. The biggest (first introduced to the tank) is the boss here. The 16 sometimes has rips in the fins but they arent serious and heal quite quickly.
How big is your tank?
Feeding the brunos is quite easy imho with them eating most frozen stuff and all kinds of greens (mine especially like potatoes).
cheers

hmm id say they are the fastest growers i have...

bought the browneye at ~8 cm last may its now 17cm
bought the blueeyed at 11 cm i think in september its now 16cm
bought the H.cochliodon at ~6-7 cm a couple of months ago now its around 9cm

id say 1 cm per month with good feeding.
I think jools told me once that they get over 20 cm but actually ive never seen a bigger one than mine in shops...
cheers
