It looks like Aucheniptericthys thoracatus, the Zamora cat.

Thanks corybreed.

At first I think be a Aucheniptericthys thoracatus or other Aucheniptericthys, but with less spotted, and I had a few doubts.

Auchenipterichthys

Post by lfinley58 »

Based on the recently published revision of Auchenipterichthys, the commonly called zamora cat of the hobby is the widely distributed species named Auchenipterichthys coracoideus. Most of these are imported into the hobby from Peru. There is still a species named A. thoracatus, but it has a limited distribution and it is likely to have a poor (if at all) representation in the hobby.
