I bought it as Sturisoma panamense.What do you think about?

Hi Al!
I think the fish you have is Sturisoma panamense ;). I have also a couple of them and really they are not only beautiful besides they have a very curious behavior.

Looks just like any other S aureum (proper name S festivum!) to me, although with very nice contrasting colors.....

that seems to be one, true.

these things have a wide variety of color as well as contrast! some are downright smuzz brown with vague patterns and others are striking.....
