Pygmy corys and other cory tankmates

Post by catfishgrrl »

Hello.
I have been watching a group of pygmy corys at a lfs for a few weeks and they look great. I went today, but they only have 2 left.
I have other corys in the planted 30g I had planned on putting them in - 4 juvie peppered corys (C. paleatus)

Will they all hang out, or will I need to find more pygmies for the 2 to "shoal" with?

Thanks,

Steph

It would be a good idea to add more C. pygmaeus, this is a species that likes to be with its own kind and also spends time shoaling in mid water, which C. paleatus do not.

Thanks....I really enjoy watching the C. pygmaeus swim around. I'll definitely keep an eye out for more.
