is my 10 gallon stunting growth?
is my 10 gallon stunting growth?
I have two small plecos, about 2inches(5cm) i have had them for 6 months and they have not grown at all. There are also two emerald cories in the tank.the tank is 10 gallons. i was wondering if my small tank size was stunting the growth of the plecos?
thanks
thanks

If you're doing a reasonable change of water (20% or so) every week, there shouldn't be a problem with the tank-size for 2" fish.zebraboy wrote:I have two small pl*cos, about 2inches(5cm) i have had them for 6 months and they have not grown at all. As Natefrog said, it depends on which kind of pleco it is. There are several hundred different varieties of Loricaridae (i.e. plecos), ranging in size from just over an inch to about three feet. Some grow very quickly, others slowly. They all have different food choices, some eat more meat, some just about anything and others are almost purely vegetarians.
