Do common male bushy nose mate with any other plecs like gibbies or commons or rino plecs? just wondering becuase hes been chasing every thing off exept my gibby.

They will mate with other Ancistrus species, but unlikely to mate with anything else.

It's more likely that your Gibbiceps is too large, or for some other reason not considered a "Territorial challenge". By the way, part of mating ritual is to "force the female away", but it's also part of their "keep a territory" principle. Birstlenoses aren't extremely territorial, but will defend their cave, and fend of any "intruders". But they only care about intruders that they fear will take over their territory, so anything that isn't considered a threat in that respect will be ignored.
