Sun catfish and irridescent (shark) w/salt?

Post by pmac »

Hi
I have an irridescent shark along with a sun catfish living with a dragonfish(violet goby). As of right now they all live in freshwater, but the dragonfish needs some salt as they mature, are the irridescent and sun cat ok with some salt, or are they strictly freshwater?
Thank you

Both the fish are strict freshwater species. Some pangasiids live in brackish conditions, but not the iridescent shark.

better get:
a: a BIG tank
B: Arius jordani/seemanni or something, instead of Pangasius/Horabagrus;
both species can and do like the salt; and both get about similar size; between 45-60cm or so (18"-2')

Dragonfish = Gobioides broussonnettii

nice, but it gets pretty big!
