Tineo catfish??

Post by crysoly »

I recently aquired a new cat for my collection. It was sold as a Tineo Catfish.Supposedly a new discovery.I have been ableto find nothing under this name.I also have been unable to find it in your catalogue so am a little stuck.
Hope someone out there can help.An ID or good links to search would be greatly appreciated!
It is about 6 inch long, age unknown.During the day it is rarely seen and is a fast mover.Silver with a horizontal black stripe down it`s middle.Nighttime it is active, looking dark all over.
I have a photo but am not sure how to post it.
It appears to prefer sinking carnivore pellets to other foods I`ve tried.
Thanks in anticipation.

Could it be a Pimelodella?

As for posting pics, read the sticky at the top of the forum.
