royals and a common

Post by jim m »

I have a royal pl*co in a 110 gal and just had to move a common from the 44 gal over but I read on anther site tonight that royals are very teritorial and this may be a problem ant ideas on weather they will get along in this size tank the royal has been in there for about 3 months and is about 4 1/2 inchs long the common is about 5 1/2 ins

I'm sure your royal has picked a spot in the tank. If your common goes near it he will probably get chased off. I think you need to put some cucumber or other fruits or veggies on a clip in the fish tank.

your fish should be ok for a while just keep them well fed and give them plenty of hiding places so they can avoid eachother.
