about to give up on pandas

Post by FishFin23 »

I have lost 4 (soon to be 5) out of 8 pandas I got about a month ago. They all have died with the same symptoms: They stop being active and stop eating, progressively get paler, and when they do attempt to move they whirl around in circles and can't keep themselves right side up. Yesterday I finally started medicating with Maracyn 2 and feeding with anti-parasite food (by Jungle) even though I have no idea what it is. Figured I'd try something. Can anyone help me?

Temerature range: 75-76
pH = 7
GH - low
KH ?
Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, levels = 0
Water change frequency - 25% once a week

Tank set up = 10 gallon quarantine with no substrate and several plastic plants. sponge (with carbon removed) and power filter with Purigen media.

bit off topic but i really like to know why everyone keep saying panda is hard to keep?

i have them in my discus tank where the temp sometimes go as high as 32c, which i know not really ideal for most cory however, my sterbai, atropersonatus, aenus and trilineatus are thriving there...

i havent lost a single cory yet *touchwood*
