I have one as well; he's the biggest fish by far and a lot of "fun"
a few examples;
-sand is not supposed to lay nice and flat; it looks much better arranged like the lap of motorcross 250cc World Championship, so let's make it happen.....
-the only true plants are floaters; easy to maintain. So I've discovered a whole array of new species: Floating Vallisneria, Floating Anubias, Floating Hydrilla, Floating Lotus.....
-chasing the other cats around is a 24/7 hobby, even if they're called granulosus! If my owner puts about 1200$ of fish in here, let's make them VISIBLE
Have fun with your Giraffenose, I sure enjoy mine

Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera yet. As soon as I buy one you can rest assured I'll post picks of all my "cats" ... As for my Giraffe Nose ... He's quite content hanging out under the rock ledge I created for him .. He/She gets along well with its Frontosa "buddies"...
I see you have yours in with a Granulosus ... Any problems there? I would love to get one ... How compatable would one be in a 125 gallon tank with the Giraffe Nose and 5 Fronts?

A.occidentalis has been years on my favourite llist, but no one is wiling to import it to here.Monsters like Pangasius hypopthalamus,P sanitwongsei and Phractocephalus you can find and they sell them to unaware customers.I´m willing to pay good money for Giraffe but...i have settle to pictures

I TNT ship live stock next day delivery so it shouldn't be too tough to import a fish from Germany. Don't how much it costs though.
