NEW fish
I got a Shovelnose @ animal ark today but he wont eat nothing. I put feeders in the tank but they swim by his face. I think they just fed him before I got him or he's retarded.

They ate them good. They dont feed them feeder fish there so try feeding him algae disks. By the Way My tiger ate my adult albino corycat a week ago before i gave him away

question to lima shovel
you would do this....
feeding preditory fish with so called feeder fish maybe acceptable when first aquiring these fish
but to introduce it into a tank containing non so-called feeder fish ..i dont comprehend . .
why?? did you purchase such a fish and house it in a aquarium containing, corydoras.. why !~!By the Way My tiger ate my adult albino corycat a week ago before i gave him away

someone told me it will rarley ate its own kind
a corydoras is not the "same kind" as a TSN or RTC.
they may be catfish, but that doesn't stop a fish eating predator from eating anything that'll fit in it's mouth.
i also don't think they should be encouraged to eat algae wafers.
try frozen fish, worms and shrimp.
