sailfin questions

Post by Theresa_M »

Today we purchased a very small (maybe 1") sailfin plec (gibbiceps). We do realize how large these fish grow, but how fast do they grow? Being 1" now how large would he/she be after 6 months, a year?

Are sailfins generally nocturnal or are they seen more often during the day after they become comfortable in their new home?

Thanks.

Hi!

a 1 inch sailfin should be at least around 4-5'' in a year... these grow fast...
Cheers
