Sturgeon diseases.
I have found out on fishbase that siberian sturgeons (naturally???) have Enteric Redmouth Disease Bacterial diseases. These diseases can potentially spread to humans. Therefore, is it safe for one to raise siberian sturgeon, let alone handle one?

Fish can have several bacterial and viral deceases that can spread to humans, and care should be taken to prevent catching such (partciularly when handling sick species). Some of these are more dangerous than others...
Wash your hands (and other parts that touch fish and it's water) thoroughly and wear surgical gloves if you're handling sick species.
Don't know anythign specifically about the siberian sturgeon's potential illness.
