Sexing Dekeyseria sp. L052

Post by OD »

I have understood than the sexual differences in Dekeyseria sp. L052 based in a bigger odontal interopercular and same in the pectoral hard fin, but ...
do the females lack almost completely of them?
The females can possess a greater growth odontal in the end of the hard fin although the remainder of the radio be almost smooth?

I have this fish and think it's male, but looking to buy a female, I doubts. it's correct? :?:

Thanks in advance.

I thought that I had read on here that the females also get odontode's aswell and that they are hard to sex until they reach sexual maturity (I'll see if I can find the thread). My male (I think), which is 12cm SL has huge odontodes on it's hard ray of it pectoral fin. I'll see if I can post a picture.

Cheers, CatBrat.
