What kind of pleco is this?

What kind of pleco is this?

I am not 100% convinced that this pleco I have is a common pleco. My LFS sold it as one. CAn anyone enlighten me on this? It's about 3-4 inches now. I know if it IS a common pleco, it will grow to be HUGE in which case I will need a MUCH larger tank. Please help!

Do you have a picture of the fish with the dorsal fin raised? Otherwise it looks very much like a common.
