Finally got a picture of my LDA33 - can anyone sex it?

Post by JonS »

Finally got my digital camera back so I could take some pictures of my new LDA33. Very pleased with Him/her?

He loves courgette (zucchini). I had fun asking all the supermarkets in the UK for Zucchini. Luckily someone in Sainbury's knew it was the American word for Courgette!

Can anyone identify if it's male or female?

Baryancistrus are difficult to sex. methods for sexing gold nuggets may work for LDA33s.

your fish looks quite small. if it's not sexually mature yet then it will be hard to tell.

here's the link to the nugget page in the cat-elog.

HI!

When you compare its size to the size of the Platy in front, you can tell is far from being big enough to be sex... you have to wait some more times...

Cheers

I think it's the perspective of the shot. He's around 10cm ish I think. No problem anyhow. It's not like I'm going to bread it or anything :-)
