Which catfish work the best in groups?

Post by daddyo72 »

I've learned recently that there are cats that work better in groups and I've found it interesting.
This is what Ive got in the tank so for;

-------------------
1 Yellow bullhead catfish/Ameiurus natalis
1 Emerald cory catfish/Brochis splendens
1 Gold apple snail (Gary the racing snail)
1 Synodontis njassae
1 Pseudomystus aff. leiacanthus /mottled bumblebee cat
1 albino catfish/Ictalurus punctatus
1 Spotted raphael catfish/Agamyxis pectinifrons
1 Reed eel/erpetoichthys calabaricus
1 Polypterus senegalus

Do any of my cats work better in groups than others? If you care to, please post suggestions of others that do for future reference.Thanks!

Your Brochis, for starters. Having bullheads and channel cats in the same tank is not a good idea, though.

I know. In this situation it works. The bullhead is so docile and friendly that it leaves me with little to worry about. The channel is starting to present a problem. I'm thinking of selling him. He's about 10 inches or so. I have never seen such a glutton as my R. cat though.
