I have a Julii cory in a 10 gallon aquarium. Lately, I have noticed that he seems to have lost control of his capability to direct himself when he swims.

As a result, he will swim in long loops, and then rest on the bottom of the tank upside down. He moves around a lot less than normal, and will not budge when resting unless brushed by my hand. In this same tank, a month or so earlier, I lost a corydoras paleatus, as well as a glow light tetra to the same symptoms.

The tank contains the following inhabitants: 2 neon tetras, 2 glow light tetras, 2 julii cories, and 2 algae eating shrimp. The tank has gravel substrate, with an under-gravel filter, and a small HOB power filter. I have been treating the tank with Maracyn 2 for the past several days.
The tank parameters are:
Nitrates: 10 ppm
Nitrites: 0 ppm
Ammonia: o ppm
pH: 7.5
KH: 6
GH: 9
Temp: 78 F
If anyone has any thoughts on what might be going on in my tank, and what, if anything, I can do to help the fish out, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
