Care Of LDA33 Same As Gold Nugget?

Hi all

, just got me an LDA33 today and noticed that it has almost the same exact body features as my gold nugget-which I've had for 3 months. Went straight to the cat-elog and noticed that they have the same name BARYANCISTRUS attached to them. Would it be safe to assume that I could apply the same general care to the LDA33 as I would the gold nugget? Thanks

Yes, the same care for LDA33 as goldnuggets...just look at the belly so it's well fed, even if they look nice they can be in realy bad condition when you purchase them as most of the Baryancistrus species and needs some extra care of you the first weeks/months.

Is'nt there some product out there that will treat fish for internal/external parasites?

Levamisol, but search for parasites or deworming, I have not used it by my self and my own experience are that loricariid's most of the times not are infected of this type of parasites but bacterial and sometimes a virus infection are much more common.
