Feeding Farlowella

my new F.vittata seems to have settled down quite nicely and is busy grazing the aufwuchs from the bogwood, glass and filter tubes. there isn't much algae in the tank and i'm worried that there's not enough to keep him going? i've tried hooking up the courgette (zuccini) but the keyholes always drag it to the bottom where the twig never goes. anyone got any tips on how to target food to him??

Yes, i do!
Take a piece of cucumber or zucchini, and pierce it with a little tea spoon... then just simply put the spoon wherever you want!
...spoon want affect your water, and it is quite a simple but effective thing to do!

If you can get one of the clips with the suction cups that goes on the glass, you can use that for the zuchinni, and I find mine loves spinach, romaine lettuce and broccoli too.

clips with suction cups is what i use and cannot complain. I think we sell them for like $2 a piece, so they are not very expensive.

my keholes still seem to tear it out of those clips, and their activity scares off the twig. i've now started lodging it behind the filter inlet pipes where they don't seem to notice it as much.
