I am almost certain this is the type of channel cat we have in our local lakes. I would just like your opinions.

One pic makes them look blue, but they are actually more grey as shown in the first pic. They are also developing new spots.

I've had one of these guys for a little over 7 years and can confirm this. Unfortunately my guy just died yesterday. Great fish but MAN can they grow on you.

If no one has told you yet be prepared to watch this guys diet. He'll just eat and eat, including any smaller fish if he's the dominant one in the tank.
