Found in the Otto tank

Hi,

Found these being sold as Ottos in the LFS. They lightened up in the bag, but were darker with lots of small dark spots. The closest I can find is Otocinclus flexilis, but the eyes are too small and farther back. Any idea what they are? (about 1 1/2" long)
