stop hiding the forum search function??

Post by chinaboy1021 »

since there is site search option in top of the page in java script, why dont you make the other search button under "nav" direct to forum search. i think it will be less confusing and easier to find.

or am i just a blind idiot.

The reason it did that is to get more people searching the whole site and thus maybe finding what they are looking for in articles and not need to post. Also, the main search page generates revenue, the forum seach doesn't.

Rusty's change makes sense now but once we get the search page covering the forum AND the rest of the site it should be reinstated.
