Plecos in a 6ft Community (best kept singly?in pairs?)

Post by thegirlundertherainbow »

Just wondering what's best..
I have a 6 ft community tank, half planted for now (with driftwood and fine living substrate), the other size is larger round gravel and pieces of holey rock (and kept dark). Other inhabitants are Pearl Gouramis, Zebra Loaches, Spotted Hillstream Loaches, C. Trilineatus, C. Elegans, Glass Catfish, Female betta, Ottos. I have as far as plecos go, a small 2" Clown and 2 x 3.5"-4" Bristlenose.. think the BNS are both female as they have just a few bristles on the outter edge of nose? Would it be better to get another clown..if so, sex? If it is possible for ME to sex them..or are they great alone?

Why don't you get a male bristlenose and try to spawn them?
