Also, could someone tell me why hes always changing colors??? (you can see in the photos the difference )

I usually see him at feeding time - when I drop the pellets in, the cories come over to eat and then out of nowhere the Pleco appears and shoos them all away while he tries to eat everything at once.

Other than that, hes pretty peaceful.

He does hand out on the driftwood mostly (theres alot in the tank)- could that affect his colors???

Yes, it's a bristlenose (probably this species).
Fishes undergo color changes depending on their mood.

Nah, they usually become very pale when they are stressed. Leave it be.

Head tentacles are the long things growing on the snout. From the looks of it, I'd say your fish is female.
