Ancistrus ??????

I have this male in one of my tanks. He is 14 cm (5.5 inch) long. He has a dark brown base color and between his head and his dorsal fin he has a figure 8 sideways. Can anyone tell me if this is a normal ancistrus or ancistrus sp. something.
