Is this normal?

I have a Common Pleco (Pterygoplichthys pardalis) at about 6 inches. He never comes out of the cave I have. I was going to feed them. I fed My Iridescent Shark 7 of these pellets called NUTRAFIN max Sinking food Tablets. One fell of the cave and into it. I came back to check if they were done as I saw the Pleco eating the pellet. I thought plecos were strictly Vegetarians, but know I know what my pleco is living on! The ingredients look pretty Carnivorous. If he came out of the cave he'd see there was LOTS of Algae on the outside of the cave. Is this normal :?:

Yes DCP...this is normal... he will eat almost anything...but it is on YOU to provide for him best food!
I use the same tablets for my loaches and corys...and my 3 p.maccus(who is waiting for transfer...) are grabbing tablets like crazy... this is why i don't like community tank...
