Hi Everyone,

This is the last call for tomorrow is the Catfish Study Group (UK) Annual Open Show & Grand Auction and for those of you that are looking for interesting, rare and unusual catfish this is the place to be. You get the chance to buy quality fish at the best possible prices and meet interesting like minded people. We have canteen facilities for both hot and cold food and drink and best of all we don't charge you a penny to come in. The fish show consists of 27 catfish classes, which is unique in its self as there is no other place in the world that hold such an event or where you can see so many different genera and species of Catfish.

Just to let you all know the Open Show was a great success, although there were a few less entries than last year, I believe 98 was the number this time around. All but three of these were separate species. I know of now other place where you could go and see more than 90 species of top quality show standard catfishes. There were species ranging in size from the diminutive Corydoras pygmaeus at 32 mm to an 60 cm Hemibagrus wyckii.

A full report with results and pictures will be posted on the web site in due course (When I get it finished)

If any members or guests that attended the show & Auction have any comments, good or bad, we would very much like to hear them as this is probably the best way for us to make improvements and make the show even better.
