Panaque - Wood
Panaque - Wood
Curious to know what kind of wood is best for Panaques such as Royals?
What is normally being used and what's best for Royals?

The fish for the most part don't care although they don't get very far in very hard woods like Mopani (African root) or other harder wood.
I have several pieces of Malaysian wood (fairly hard) in with four Panaque maccus. They chew on that and have carved out caves and hollows quite readily.
There are other pieces of softer driftwoods in the tank as well.
