Bunocephalus coracoideus

Post by XEEN »

Hello

I have purchased 4 Bunocephalus coracoideus, and i want to breed them or at least try :)

Can you please give me some advices to be successfull.

Do i need more fishes ?
What tank size do i need ?
How must i arrange the tank ? ...

Or anything else that you think is important.

For the moment, they are in a comunity tank, ph 6.5, 27° C, nitrate 10 mg/L

There are some sources of information covered in this post.

I sent Yann a pdf of an article on breeding banjo cats. You might want to ask him for it.

I already contacted him and read that post :)

Thank you very much

I was looking for some personal experiments, no one around with knowledge in breeding this fish ?

So few answers, nobody seems to know bunocephalus.
I will try my best to breed them by myself and if i'll be successfull, i'll post the results on this board.
