Fungus on L264?

I happened to catch my L264 sultan pleco out in the open during feeding and noticed he has two small white spots underneath his eye. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this is? I posted on another forum and they suspected a fungal infection and suggested treating with Maracyn. Has anyone else ever had this happen to their pleco? Any other suggestions for treatment?

Be very careful with any meds. I find most meds are worse than the disease or fungus or whatever. Make sure it is for scaleless fish. I find it is not as strong. Good luck!!
