Royal Pleco Belly Colour

Post by batho »

I have a 6" TL Royal Pleco Panaque that I have had for about 8 months.

He is eating well and has superb patternation but I notices this morning where the lines normally are on his belly has turned white. There are no visible signs of infection and his belly is not sunken.

Any ideas if this is normal as they grow? If not, what could he causing it.

It is definitely not buring from the heater as this is housed inside an internal filter system.

Please give advice.
