Post by Jorge »

Sorry, but I can't see the pictures at the Cat-e-log. What happens? :?:

The question is about this fish. Is a Peckoltia, Panaque, Hypostomus which one?

Thanks Yann, but...
it grows quite big
at the Cat-e-log: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/lo ... /831_f.php

it says 120 mm (12 cm), and in Aqualog it says 12-15 cm. I think that's very small being a Hypostomus

or it should say 120 cms (1,20 meters)????????

:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Hi Jorge:
THe maximum size that i saw in the wild was 45 cm. This should be near the maximum size for the specie. Keep the fish, the adult pattern it´s great!
good luck

Hi Jorge!

Yes they do grow big...

The size problem was because it was first believe to be a Peckoltia species...

Cheers
