Buy, yes or no?

Post by Jeff B. »

Hi people... :)
I have chance to buy 2 adault L046 for 130euro. These zebra's are 5 years old and this give me doubts...
apperantly they are a pair... but i can't get good picture of them, one thing is for sure, one zebra is smaller.
I ask you good people, is this chance or not???
These are definetly only ones in all LFS...
my friend has bought a pair for 60euros each in Austria and they don't want to breed... maybe they are to young?? i don't want to buy such a expensive fish, to find out she/he has died from old age...
regards
jeff

if you want the fish, go buy it!

dont think about the age, this fish should reach an age of atleast 12 years.

I think the age and the price are not quite important. The key is you feel satisfied with them!!!!

I just gladly paid $100 (US) for my L046. Gladly. From a very reputable LFS and the first time i've seen one there in over a year. I've been obviously hesistant buying one online in an auction, not being sure what i would get in terms of health. So if you can get one at any size or age from a source you trust, i would pay what they ask. Unless that is, you do not trust your LFS or the employees thereof. I'd say $70 (for juvies) to $100 is fair market value for these guys right now.... given their scarcity and difficult breeeding nature.
