Black Synodontis?

Post by Converting »

Does anybody have pics of what a lfs has labelled as a black synodontis. There is one at a LFS near me about 8 inches in length. Jet black with a few silver specs which makes me pretty confident it is a Heterobagrus leucophasis. Having said that the store owner tells me otherwise as they look very similar? I have never heard of a black synodontis.

Does it swim upside down?

Look in the Cat-eLog under .

See that is the thing. It is in to small of a space to swim at all and it does lay on its belly. It looks a lot like the fish in the catelog.
