Tank, bio bloom on front wall.

Post by Paladindjinn »

My 46 gallon bowfront is starting to get little spots of a brownish bloom of something. Not sure if it is alge of fungus or what not. Pleco's are commonly used to eat stuff like this but my 10" albino common pleco doesn't seem to go neer it. Was wondering if it is anything to be concerned about or if i should just get an alge scrubber and take it off.

I think you have a diatom (brown algae) bloom. Scrape it off if the fish won't eat it.

I think it could also be my pleco, he hates it when people r in the room he always goes to hide in a corner. And type of Loricariidae, that would be more productive then him?

Just a guess but isn't that state pretty tiny? What about Boston?
