I had to get pics out of water unfortunately (hard to take pics of them) so the color is drowned out and the white on the caudal which is there for sure doesn't show as much but here you go

From the orange caudal fins (I hesitated to use that as a distinguishing character the first time because not all wyckioides, particularly juveniles, show this character), more gently-sloping dorsal profile, and the lighter coloration (wyckii tend to be more of a gray to grayish black, and do not show any hint of brown like your fish). The white edges on the caudal fins would be very contrasting, very much more so than your fish. The head and body in wyckii also tends to be a little broader than in your fish.

I agree with silurus. The color and profile...and the caudal fin all point to wyckoides. My wyckii was much stockier, had a wider taller head and was nearly pitch black at that size. His white edging didnt really come in until 8".
